As we are ending Day 1 of Contract Negotiations, we as a committee wanted to give you an update. To start the day, both parties met, and were addressed by IAM GVP David Sullivan and GDBIW VP/HR Ray Steen and VP OPS+Planning Dave Clark. We agreed to the run rules governing our negotiation process. This was a significant step forward in ensuring a fair and constructive dialogue. We met multiple times and have a great start with agreement to TA (Tentative Agreement) a number of articles as NO CHANGE.
We would like to express our gratitude to all members for their patience and support throughout this process. We will resume negotiations in the morning and will issue updates as things progress.
